Introducing 17th & Surf Coastal Apparel

The Name Says It All
If you've read our family story, you know where we come from.
Our dad Carlo opened his first pizza shop in 1985 at the corner of 17th Street and Surf Avenue in Wildwood, New Jersey — a few blocks from the boardwalk, right in the middle of everything. That's where our mom and dad met. That's where they built a family. That's where seven kids learned how to make pizza, how to work, and how to love what you do.
That corner has never left us.
When we moved to Atlanta and started building Carlo's Pizza together, the whole point was to carry that spirit — our dad's spirit — into something new.
The boardwalk energy. The bold food. The belief that if you care enough about what you're making, people are going to feel it.
A few years in and we've created another way to honor that corner.
We started 17th & Surf.
The name isn't random. It's the exact intersection where Dad built his legacy — 17th Street and Surf Avenue, Wildwood, NJ. Every piece I put out under that name is connected to that place and what it meant to our family.
But 17th & Surf isn't pizza. It's coastal apparel — and it doesn't look like anything else out there.
Joey's been building a line of bold, limited-run, garment-dyed graphic tees rooted in ocean folklore and maritime art. Deep-sea creatures, nautical mythology, ocean criminals with mugshot records, ink blot series inspired by the animals of the sea. Dark, detailed, and made for people who feel a pull toward the water that they can't quite explain.
It's the other side of the same coin. Carlo's Pizza is our dad's story, told through food. 17th & Surf is that same story, told through wearable art with a whole different vibe.
If you've been coming to see us at Carlo's for a while, you already know: the Accardi family doesn't put our name on anything we don't believe in completely. That goes for every pizza we send out and now every limited time drop at 17th & Surf.
The shop is live at 17thandsurf.com. Every collection has its own story — browse around, and if something calls to you, it's limited. Once it's gone, it's gone.
